COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Bottle. The pour was a clear light amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that reduced to a few puddles and a small collar of residue and had fair spotty lacing. The aroma was very mild of a grain malt, floral hops and a mild earthy yeast with hints of a mild caramel and citrus (orange and grapefruit). The taste was very lightly bitter from start to finish with a hint of orange peel early on and a mild hoppy ending. The flavor was very short lived, fading very quickly after the swallow. Mouthfeel was light in body and had a watery texture and a super mild carbonation. Overall a very light tasting brew that had very little flavor other than a very faint hoppy presence, which did not last long...

Thanks kajzer for sharing this with us! At Pivoteka. Slightly misty orange/amber body with a thick white head. Malt-driven aroma, orange rock candy. Taste... light, nice orange rock candy, no bitterness and almost no aftertaste. Oof. Not sure how it is fresh, but I guess this one has taken a blow from the travel. Still proved to be better than the other Abitas I’ve had that day.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, herbal and floral, hoppy aroma, biscuity, pale malty background, some lemon biscuit. Taste is crisp hoppy, slighty grassy, floral, some lemon, a minimally perfumed touch of bath salt. Nicely hopped, quite OK.

Poured from 12 ounce bottle labeled "Abita Restoration Pale Ale" bought as part of an Abita variety 12 pack from Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on April 5, 2015, Slightly hazy golden hue, interesting orange/other citrus/hoppy nose, taste pretty much like the aroma. Not the biggest beer around but a nice, sessionable brew.

355ml bottle as Restoration pale ale (ABV 5.2%). Hazy orange pour with an ample white head. Nose and taste of biscuity sweet malts with citrusy and piney hops. Finishes mildly dry and bitter with a medium body and carbonation. Less resinous than Sierra Nevada pale ale.

Tap @Buns Burger, San Juan. Hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Herbal, grassy hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Grassy, hoppyness with light fruityness. Short finish. Ok with food, otherwise boring and watery.

Very light, smooth, crips. A fairly regular beer which is on the lighter side. Seems to be pretty typical of Abita.
