COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Bottle. The pour was a clear light amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that reduced to a few puddles and a small collar of residue and had fair spotty lacing. The aroma was very mild of a grain malt, floral hops and a mild earthy yeast with hints of a mild caramel and citrus (orange and grapefruit). The taste was very lightly bitter from start to finish with a hint of orange peel early on and a mild hoppy ending. The flavor was very short lived, fading very quickly after the swallow. Mouthfeel was light in body and had a watery texture and a super mild carbonation. Overall a very light tasting brew that had very little flavor other than a very faint hoppy presence, which did not last long...

Decent beer but not exciting. Pale malt and rice aroma. Faint. Dirty golden color with a thin white head. Light palate with strong carbonation. Pale and grassy malt flavors with a slight hops bitterness on the finish. Decent summer beer but not a first choice.

Bottled as Restoration Ale. Itís ok but pale aleís donít travel too well from America to Australia. Probably better fresh.

12oz bottle, definitely light, decent summer brew, lacks some flavor to it, not sure, but again, overall decent.

A very gentle aroma with citrusy and some piney notes dominate. Rather light, a wee bit watery, and softly carbonated.

Bottle 5.2% abv. Promising hoppy aroma. Taste with citrus notes but a watery mouthfeel so it ends up rather dissapointing. A shame.

12 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, floral and grassy hops, a splash of citrus. There wasnít much going on with this.

Jado (527) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2014
From 355 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with a sudsy white head and moderate carbonation. Strong aromas of tropical fruit (pineapple, lime, guava), sweet pastry and a floral note. Taste is sweet biscuit at the front before a zesty bitterness comes through. Short finish with a lightly fruity aftertaste. A bit unbalanced but pretty refreshing all the same.
