bottle. The perfect example of Abita beer. Utterly boring, yet inoffensive. I can’t imagine someone getting excited about this at all.

Aroma: wheat smell predominately
Appearance: very clear, very transparent, almost no head
Taste: heavy wheat taste, no hop taste really, dry, light, good plain wheat beer
Palate: light, dry, crisp, wheat aftertaste
Overall: good wheat tasting beer, you would think it's a light beer. It has it's place

Bottle, thanks to my brother. This says it is a helles and has the correct 4.2% abv. The body is a slightly hazy medium gold with thin whisps of a white head. The doughy nose has some raw potatoes. The taste is like bell peppers and dough. A middle of the road bland brew, but not flawed. Earlier Rating: 2/27/2004 Total Score: 2.5 Slightly spicy aroma. Generally, not much more flavor than the lagers that you would expect. Slight hops, just tenough to keep it interesting, but still very smooth and drinkable.
