2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from ABC. Pours an almost reddish brown with a medium white head and some strong lacing with some visible particles as well. Aroma is typical IPA fare - earth, floral, pine, and a nice malt balance. Taste is pretty sweet throughout and short on the finish; the malt comes through more than anything. Pretty dry going down and underwhelming on the whole, but not too bad for what it is. Acquire.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a very agreeable slamming beer. There is just enough spice and hops to qualify as an IPA, but with no overwhelming flavor added (like pine) to try to make it more than it is. Sometimes you just want to drink beer, have a good time, and not analyze the process, nor micro manage the experience. When that day comes, buy a bunch of this and tear it up.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I light this out of the tap and in a plastic cup, mostly while standing on the deck of the Natchez while steaming down (or maybe it's up?) the Mississippi. Sometimes, I drink things just for the memories. It tastes pretty good, too: a little caramel, a little earth, a little (too) thin. Not bad at all.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pretty decent cask at iron horse. Nice citra aroma but a bit too earthy for my tastes. I give this beer 1.2 thumbs up.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Watford City. Appearance: finger copper head, copper color, clear, ok lacing. Aroma: heavy caramel, grass hops. Palate: medium-light body, average carbonation, bitter finish, sticky and also slightly thin texture. Taste: heavy caramel sweetness, into light grassy hops that grows and becomes more bitter. Overall, nothing special, thinness is off, and transition form sweet to bitter is not smooth.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle; I guess Abita and I agree that all beer should have some malt flavor. I like this IPA probably because it’s maltier than most IPAs. Unlike the amber though, I tire of this flavor more quickly.

Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, honey, malts and apricot. Bitter flavour, apricot, honey, light sweet. Bitter finish, light sweet, apricot. Not bad, feels a bit old but still quite a nice drink.
