3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 redlight (2265) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Pine resin on the nose with some tropical fruit notes. Pours a pale gold with a thin white head. Earthy bitterness upfront with pine coming through. This beer seems very heavy on the bittering hops but not much of flavoring hops. But all in all a solid IPA.

Not good. Flavored loudly but not with hops. Underwhelming. Malty but yucky does not compliment this IPA.

The beer pours a slightly hazy amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is a mix of bready malt with some pine notes mixed in. The beer also has an iced tea aroma. The flavor is a mix of pine and orange citrus hops with some toffee notes. Low bitterness. Thin, slightly watery mouthfeel and low to medium carbonation.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Chipalsa (699) - Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Poured a little darker than usual for an IPA; Orange, a little foggy, and a very thin head. Smelled ripe and zesty, with sharp hop notes and bitter citrus. The taste wasn’t as the smell assumed, but the hoppiness was still pretty bitter. Undertones of pine, sweet citrus and caramel were pleasing on the palate. The finish was malty and spicy, with a dry mouthfeel. Pretty good, just not spot on for an IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DrSilverworm (1016) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 1, 2011
12oz bottle, as part of the abita party sampler 12-pack. Nice clear orange color, lively tiny bubbles. Definitely a sweet taste, hardly bitter at all. Kind of a syrupy texture. Conservative, soft carbonation. Short and abrupt finish leaves something but desired, but does add to drinkability. Mild fruity aroma, but not much there to judge it by... honeydew melon, light spruce, nutty. I can imagine how this would be way better in the New Orleans sun with a seafood dish..

On tap at Gravy, NYC. Pours a pale golden orange color with off-white foam head. Aroma of grapefruit and caramel. Sweet taste with nice hop hit. Little funk on the finish.
