2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber/orange with two finger off white head. Smell is spicy hops, with big grapefruit but a slightly off putting note. Taste is grapefruit, with the off putting smell coming into fruition in the form of vitamins and vegetal tinges. Not horrific as I finished it, but certainly not fully pleasant. I am hoping this was an older bottle and not the brewer’s intention.

Bottle into shaker. Very complex yet pleasing aroma. Bread, floral, honey, caramel, dough, banana, and clove. Cloudy amber orange in color. Appropriate head with plenty of lace left over. Sweet initial licorice flavor that transitions to hops and a nice light bitter finish. Medium body, lively on the tongue, light bitter finish. Very good.
