Sample at Hopfest 2013. Comes a cloudy gold with a decent white head. Aroma of grain and citrus. Taste is wheat, lemon, and yeast. Good for a hot day.

Cloudy golden pour with a foamy head. Crisp lemon aroma. More of just a citrus lemon brew than the shandy I thought it would be.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Giannone, 5/20/13

Aroma: The aroma is wheat and yeast, some spice, mild hop notes, and light lemon
Appearance: It pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a frothy white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: It is lightly sweet, some wheaty flavor, tart and yeasty notes, and some mild bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, it has a tingly carbonation, and a mildly astringent finish
Overall Impression: This was decent enough. The lemon comes through as a lightly tart note on a wheat ale. It was different than what I was expecting. I actually thought it was a pretty balanced and drinkable beer, but it is also just a tinge on the dull side. Not bad at all.

12oz bottle - pours hazy straw with plenty of white head and decent lacing. Nose is lemon peel and dust. Flavor adds cardboard. refreshing with a small to medium body. tart and sweet, but minimally so. a lemon of a beer; does the comparison also work with beer?

Lots of stale bread and corn in the aroma, with a little bit of lemon. Same with the flavor. Ugh. Abita has some tasty beer lately, but this is a miss.

12 oz. Lively body is lightly hazy and golden with a lasting disc of bubbles. Aromas of honey, cracked dry wheat, and white grape with some earthy must. Taste is the same nice mix until some sickly tart lemon shows up and dominates a bit too much. Light body has average carbonation and finishes acidicly astringent.
