Absolute kids milk, typical American beer.. (Weak) thankfully they havenít made it frightfully hoppy! Fantastic if you want 30 pints without feeling a thing! Iíd let my kids brush their teeth with it.

On tap at the Barrel Bar. It poured a straw color with a white head. The aroma was of maize, cereals and some hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with corn syrup, cereal and some hops. Good summer grass cutting beer.

1/22/16 Washington DC (16 oz draft poured at Reagan National into a standard pint glass). Very pale blonde pour, minimal white head and carbonation. Nominal malt aroma and negligible bland taste. Light watery texture. Not a good offering.

Bottle at Spacebar. Pale yellow with moderate white head. Straw, grains, corn. Not terrible for what it is.

Bottle at Stop&Go, San Juan. Yellow color, small white head. Light notes of sweetcorn and barley in the aroma. Light-bodied. Sweetish light flavor of corn, grain and acidity. Still, has some maltyness compared to macro light beers.

Rated on 02-19-2013 at Abita Brewpub. This draft beer has a white head, transparent dark yellow body, fast rising, very little carbonation observed, and virtually no lacing. The aroma is malt, light corn and spicy hops. The flavor is malt and semi-sweet. The mouthfeel is lively and this beer is medium bodied. This is a session beer with very little character.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly clear golden amber with a smooth white head cover, lace slides back into the beer. Aroma is nice floral malt, appealing and reminiscent of an earlier time. Taste is thin malt that adds a jolt of carbonation an the swallow, lingering for only a short time. Not much there, but for a light beer, it is well ahead of all the "big-box" guys.

Gold-yellow appearance. Big head that dies quickly. Surprisingly fairly complex aroma: almost like a wheat; some lemon; yeast; minor hops. As for being "the smoothest, most flavorful light beer you will ever taste," Iím sorry, Abita, but no. There is hardly any flavor, which was a letdown after the interesting aroma. While I would certainly take this over most other pale lagers, I can also think of other pale lagers with a similar light calorie profile (hello, Harp Lager and Pacifico Clara) that have more flavor.

Bottle at home. Pours a pale yellow with a big white head. Aroma is floral. Very nice. Much better than I expected. Very drinkable light pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
