2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jason (1670) - Easton, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2007
Bottle. Ordered at corner bar on Bourbon Street, September 2006. Poured a plae golden color with thin head. Aroma is grainy, crisp. Flavor is very low profiled, watery, light hops. This was enjoyable on a warm day, but would most likely not order again.

On tap at Mullats in New Orleans. I like light beer so I liked this one. Better than the mass produced light beers that are usually available when we go out. Liked the Amber a little better but would order the Abita Light again anytime.

Bottle. Dont really know why I even tried this since I dont like light beers. I do however like most of Abita’s brews. Actually not bad for a light beer, but I prefer something with more taste. Gold color, quickly dissipating head, no real lacing on glass, very little aroma. I guess if you really have to have a light beer this is as good as any, but that really isnt much of an endorsement, is it?
3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 kingfiogojr (78) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 9, 2007
My favorite thirsty beer. So crisp, smooth. Little spice, but that’s not what this beer is for. If getting a quenched thirst, or not drinking something heavy is your goal, I see NO better beer than this. By far the best light beer I’ve ever tasted, mass market or otherwise. My only beef is that it’s moderately expensive (Maryland) for what is after all, a light beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 irishsnake (354) - Oakland, California, USA - JAN 11, 2007
beer pours an almost apple-juice like gold, with an extremely short-lived head that leaves no lace. aroma is pretty nice - a little hop spiciness, some malt/grain aromas. flavor is really good for the style - it has a real malt flavor up front, with some actual hops in the finish. very crisp, and of course, ridiculously easy to drink. it shows you can make good beer in any style, if you try.

Bottle 43F Lager Glass. Light aroma a touch of light malts. LIght slightly cloudy appearance, little head. Not a lot going on here very light taste, no real hops, better than most macros but not much.

Straw color with a smaller white head. Flowery, floury bread dough aromas. More a paste than dough aroma, but I think you get the analogy. Somewhat thick, for style, and lifeless feel. Watery, grainy flavors. Has some real NA quality flavors. Seems a bit unattenuated. I still don’t get it.

Bland beer. Tastes like most abita beers which isn’t very good. Try the turbodog its the only beer worth the cost.
