1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DruncanVeasey (4800) - NUNEATON, Conference North, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2010
Bottle walking round The Luxor goggling. No idea what the beer looks like, but I can imagine. Fizz, raspberry Pavlova, weak finishing biscuit with drying aspartame afters. Right up there with the most noxious, synthetic-flavoured Belgian fruit concoctions. Tastes like it’s been put together in a lab, not a brewery. Pretty nasty.

Should be called purple trash...yuck. Tastes Like carbonated water...tastes nothing like beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 poisoneddwarf (882) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - OCT 25, 2010
12 oz bottle into flute. Pours a hazy cantaloupe-colored hue with a medium head that recedes quickly, leaving a collar of foam full of big bubbles and some decent lace. Aroma is both tart and sweet raspberries, Zipfizz candy, wheat. Taste is sweet (not overbearing) with no bitterness. Tastes like berries, no surprise. Body is very thin and watery. Medium-high carbonation. Tastes more like flavored seltzer water than beer.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 eclaycamp (187) - , Kansas, USA - OCT 23, 2010
12 ounce stubby bottle. Gotta love the Jimi Hendrix reference. Let’s see if this beer can stand up to my love of all things Hendrix. Pours a flat and hazy straw yellow with no head. Hmm. Not a great start. Aroma is subtle, like raspberry compote mixed with some basic lager beer. Initial impression of the taste is … strange. Lots of wheat character in this, almost like drinking raw wheat. Very little raspberry character in this, it’s overpowered by the wheat. I’ve had a lot of wheat beers and hefeweisens over the years, but this one may have the most wheat character of any that I’ve had. And if you like wheat beers, this one may be your thing, because it’s like chewing on raw what. I however, am not a fan.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 AirForceHops (991) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 10, 2010
12oz bottle. murky gold pour with thin bubbly off-white head. earthy aroma with a hint of the raspberry. lightly sweet berry taste up front that peters out fairly quickly. makes it a brief dry sour finish. Not as offensive as many other rating say it is. I don’t think the Raspberry taste is artificial either. The sample I had was a very nice fruit beer. If you like fruit beers, this is nice. Not not why it’s geting such bad ratings??
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 pete4999 (633) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with slight purplish tint and a white head. Appearance is probably the best part about it. Smells of berries, tastes like fake berry flavor. Goes down real easy as there isn’t a ton in it. Bleh.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Leafs93 (868) - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Cloudy deep gold with minimal head. Aroma is raspberry, wheat and some grass. Taste is sweet with a somewhat tart finish. This is ok, but it falls short in having a somewhat artiicial flavor.
4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 365daysabeer (4) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 29, 2010 does not count
Great overall beer. The raspberries are never overbearing, just add a touch of flavor at the end. Pairs well with most anything.
