You know how some beers usually have a hint of the flavor they advertise? Purple Haze has so much "Purple" flavor that you can’t help but squint your eyes and wonder what the hell you’re tasting.

Peachy-gold with small white cap. Scent is tart raspberry. Taste is a neutral sort of raspberry...not too sweet. 1980’s winecooler flavour and feel. Pretty weak.

In its class it stands alone in my mind. Im not a fruity beer drinker by nature but the raspberry flavor and carbonation go together like a nice champagne.

Bottle 12 oz @ Channel Inn, Washington DC. Pink beer with a white head. Sweetish aroma with clear notes of raspberries. Fruity flavor of berries. A little thin texture but nice refreshing

Well like many of you I bought this strickly due to the label. During the entire experience I was trying to find something purple about it. Lighter in color and flavor, but cerainly not "bad". Not my favorite fruit beer.

Pours a sort of peach color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Has a mild fruity aroma. Not nuch else. Taste is a mild rasberry flavor. at least it is not overly sweet. No real bitterness but an unexpected dry finish. Light body, smooth, but it is a fruit beer. Fruit beers are just not my thing, I should know better.

This one caught me by surprise. All the bready notes are well hidden in the high carbonation, but the finish is dry and... palate cleansing. Pairs great with food because it has no finish really.
