Taste was more so of wheat with a real suttle raspberry taste. I thought it was pretty good. Probably wouldn’t buy again though. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Nose is extremely metallic with a grain edge to it. Flavor is actually pretty smooth with the fruit. Robust wheat body with a smooth and seemingly natural berry influence. Feel has a real strong large bubble hitting the tongue and a pretty standard liquid feel. Overall pretty drinkable. I will say that it is oddly earthy and robust and delivers a not so foo-foo-ey fruit beer experience. May not be the most beautiful example of the style, but it is surely interesting. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Pours a hzy peach colour and smells like raspberiies and beer. So when I tasted it I expected there to beer a raspberry flavor. It just had the aftertaste. I tasted moderately bland but not bad. I drank this out of a wine glass because I didn’t have a flute. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Updated: Feb 28, 2008This beer actually carries a story with it. A friend of mine and i went beer hunting and found this one. As we were walking back from the parking lot to our house it started to rain really hard so we ran through it. As soon as i got through the front door the bag ripped and the 6 pack fell to the ground with the horrifying shatter of broken glass. I picked it up expecting the worst only to find that one bottle had taken it all for the team. I dont mean that it was slightly broken, this bottle had been obliterated into shards. Only one bottle though, fate on our side perhaps that we were destined to taste this brew? ha ha anyways heres the review:
Pours a nice golden light cloudy amber as a classic wheat beer does. Not much head on this one. Aroma is of sweet raspberries and wheat. Very refreshing flavor on the palate with a nice crisp finish. The only criticism i have on this one is that i wouldve liked just a pinch more raspberry taste to it but aside from that a solid brew. I really enjoyed this one. popdoggy (100), USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, average head. Tart raspberry aroma. Dryish, light and clean. Though simple it’s drinkable and refreshing. No bitterness. A well made beer in a pointless style. jtw (942), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 24, 2008 pours a peachy whitish color with a bit of cloudy haze - while not quite purple, close enough i suppose! faint aroma of wheat and berry, though i wouldn’t have guessed raspberries specifically. lightly sweet and fruity, thin-bodied but not bad. unremarkable, but might be nice if it were hot outside... vyvvy (2034), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2008 Pours orange with a fluffy white head. The aroma has light cough syrup style raspberries, rich wheat malt and hints of pepper. It has a light crisp body with frothy, yet somehow sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the fake medicinal raspberries. The finish is metallic and very uninviting. Part of a gift sampler pack - I won’t be having this one again.
