a difinite light purple haze. Aroma was scary at first. good flavor, probably the only thing i have ever liked with a raspberry in it. Seemed really weird at first, but it really grew on me. Nice change every once in a while.

Draught Cloudy straw pour with decent head. Raspberry flavor and aroma. Refreshing, but nothing I could do regularly. Good for the girlfriend.

poured into pint. pours a cloudy pale yellow with slight rasberry color. wheaty aroma, with mild fruity rasberry background. wheat thruought with rasberry, not overly impowering or sweet, but a rather good balance. a good compliment with food on an outside patio.

Cloudy red straw with decent off-white head / Slightly off, cooked raspberry nose / Light body with light finish / Restrained, fresh raspberry flavor over what tastes to be an indifferent wheat beer / Pleasant and easy drinking on a summer’s day.

What an abject failure this is. After succumbing to girldom and actually enjoying a Leinenkugel Razz (yikes!), I decided to give Purple Haze a try. Figured at $10.49 a sixer there was some value here. Decimal point should’ve been moved over one place. I certainly smelled the raspberries, but the taste was so watery I couldn’t even classify this as beer. There was no bitterness whatsoever, no carbonation, no anything that would resemble some yeasty, malty, hoppy, alcoholic beverage. Seriously, I thought this was flavored water from Kroger. Actually, judging from the way it looked, it may have been raspberry juice. That may have been the intent of the beer for all I know.

Pours a cloudy gold/orange with a white thin head. A nice light raspberry aroma. Taste of raspberries and a typical wheat. Not a bad beer for a warm day.

opaque pink, fine thin white head, light sweet raspberry aroma that reaches your nose before you reach for the glass, light sweet flavor, well balanced between the raspberry and wheat characer, nicely refined over the years

Bottle from Hi-Time Wine. Pours a hazy golden/amber color. Aroma is of raspberries or at least berries of some sort. Some whaet as well. Fruit does not come across all that well. Refreshing, but fairly boring.
