kkearn (994), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 13, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours hazy, pale amber with a small off white head. Artificial Fruit flavor, with some wheat in the background. Wheat flavor, with artificial raspberry flavor. Finish is a bit tart. The beer is actually pretty refreshing in spite of the artificial fruit flavors. Hudspart (371), Hudsonville, Michigan, USA Aug 11, 2007 With no surprise, strong smell and taste of raspberries. Not a bad beer, but not up my alley. Almost no head with an amber hue. The taste had a decent duration. Best for girls who never had a beer before and who think beer is yucky. WankerWeasel (18), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Aug 8, 2007 Pours a nice hazy medium/dark yellow color. The very last bit outta the bottle had a distinct purple haze to it. Big white foamy head piles up and then slowly settles a bit. Lots of wispy sticky lace if left behind on the walls of the glass. Big raspberry aroma. Nice and fruity with a good yeasty note at the end and a nice wheat malt sweetness mingled in. Very pleasant. Not artificial in aroma like some can be. Nice smooth wheat malt up front. Very nice sweetness comes in next and a great raspberry flavor comes across in the aftertaste. Delicious. TheShat (131), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Aug 8, 2007 The draft is a cloudy light gold with a small head. The aroma is quite strong, with fruity sweetness dominating and a touch of sour. The flavor is light consisting of malt, it is definately on the watery side, lacking carbonation. The beer finishes sweet with the rasberry taste coming through. mfuent1 (15), USA Aug 6, 2007 First had this on tap at a music festival on a hot afternoon in Lafayette, LA. Loved it from the first sip and still do, but only when it’s on tap. Not nearly as good in the bottle. jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 6, 2007 A cross of a lite beer and a Pez candy. The light “fruit” taste is hard to sense. The lite purple Barney like color is also a bit unnearving in a beer. MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Aug 5, 2007 picked up as part of a abita variety pack. pours cloudy amber, average head, slight lacing. amora is very raspberry as expected, taste was crisp with some bitterness. fairly pleasant on a hot day, could knock down quite a few of these. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA Aug 1, 2007 Drank in somewhat of a haze, from the bottle in South Carolina. Was an adequate drink, not remarkable in anything but had a bitter finish.
