I am not a fan of fruity beers, but I did enjoy certain qualities of this one. It has a wonderful orange color and a decent head compared to some other wheat beers I’ve had. The fresh raspberry puree definitely adds an interesting tartness, but I wish they left the rest of the beer unfiltered. Easy drinking and would be perfect for a hot summer day. I’ve had some better local (Delaware Valley) interpretations of this style but this beer is pretty solid for a mass produced product. blindeyedbetty (151), Arlington, Virginia, USA

This bottle poured with a small, quickly dissipating head of white bubbles giving way to no lacing to speak of. The aroma is - well, really there is not much of an aroma at all as far as I can tell. Perhaps some wheat. The beer is a nice orangey / weak iced tea color and is cloudy. It is rather tart on the tongue at first but warms up and presents it’s medium body in a sweetness that is reminiscent of raspberry jam. Aftertaste is unremarkable - somewhat tart with some bitterness. An okay beer but not impressive and there are other fruit beers that are far more palatable. Lowe1983 (1029), Fairborn, Ohio, USA

Aroma is of wheat and a hint of some raspberry. Flavor is of wheat and raspberry with a strange aftertaste. Not really that great. Abita makes other beers much more worthy then this one. rm0312 (36), Idaho, USA

It poured a cloudy amber with a pink hue and a thin head. Smelled and tasted somewhat like bubblegum or berry-flavored hard candy. No lasting finish to speak of - though I’m not sure I wanted one. I would not purchase this beer. Cybercat (784), Georgia, USA

Aroma is strongly raspberry, and flavor is neither malty nor hoppy but still beery, and raspberry taste is strong but does not overwhelm the palate. golubj (1286), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Pours a nice cloudy amber that is multi-layered at first, then settles to an only slightly cloudy amber. Not a lot of aroma to speak of. Only a hint of raspberry. Nice on the palate, good carbonation. Crisp taste with the raspberry flavor at the end and on the aftertaste.
