2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lothore (276) - California, USA - APR 26, 2008
A- Very light yellow hue with a thin fizzy head. Reminds me of watered down lemonade.
S- Smell is sour, raspberries, slight peach.
T- Tastes earthy with a tinge of raspberry fruitiness. Very bland.
M- A bit thin with quite a bit of carbonation.
D- I couldn’t imagine wanting to have another one of these.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 UnholyBrewing (490) - Central Florida(Upper Hell), Florida, USA - APR 24, 2008
...well, I was slightly disappointed in this brew from all the hype. It was still decent out of the bottle, but nothing amazing. Nice framboise flavor that’s not overpowering. Fruity, has a slight bite, and decent mouthfeel, but tastes artificial and slightly over carbonated. Not that great, and usually expensive, but worth a try.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 iride15 (222) - Rockledge, Florida, Florida, USA - APR 23, 2008
The raspberry taste in this one was a little off and sour, although it was clearly present. Lacked some beer qualities and almost made this into a fruit drink with alcohol.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 17thfloor (2265) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 22, 2008
Pours cloudy yellow/orange with a medium sudsy/creamy white head. Smells like cheap keg beer and fruit syrup. Very light and crisp beer, refreshing. Sweet wheaty taste with light tinge of raspberries. Not entirely intersting... like a diet soda. A raspberry wheat would be awesome if it was loaded with raspberries.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 rederic (2269) - montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2008
Hazy yellow gold hue, with an off-white head, wheaty, fruity nose of raspberries and blackberies, with subtle tartness, hint of honeyed pale malt in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp yeasty, fruity acidic blackberry fruity character despite the fact that they added raspberries, it’s more blackberry for me, with a note of tartness, a mild honeyed pale malt accent, leading towards an acidic, spritzy raspberry light sourness finish.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Davinci (295) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2008
Bottle thanks to 17th floor. pours a nice hazy straw yellow with billowy white head. Nose is very srtificial rasberry with some soured grain. Flavor starts off with faint rasberry sweetness then movses toward a skunky wheat finsh some cardboard as well. Body is weak and watery. Gross!!!
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cletus (6025) - Connecticut, USA - APR 14, 2008
Pours red with a white head. Smells of raspberries and syruppy. Tastes of syrup, some wheat. Not one of their better beers.
