CheersMate1 (770), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Dec 23, 2006 Pretty boring! I think most peopel are duped into buying this beer because they love one of two things: acid, or Jimi Hendrix. I doubt the beer is what made the phrase popular. Let’s face it guys, try to disguise a beer as a fruit beer just doesn’t always work; infact it might work only rarely. I don’t even remember my intial thoughts of this beer, probably because it wasn’t that good. You can skip trying this one, trust me! b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Dec 11, 2006 Light cloudy gold color. Faint fruity aroma. Good subtle raspberry flavor, not overwhelming but still evident. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Dec 10, 2006 tap: Hazy light amber. Raspberry aroma with very light wheat notes. Light bodied with a sweet fake raspberry flavor. Boring if anything. DrewTaylor (154), Michigan, USA Dec 5, 2006 Almost no aroma. Hazy gold color with a light head. Not a strong tasting beer. Wheat and raspberries were there but not entirely evident. Very weak tasting beer, but it was refreshing. ebbies7 (2), Athens, Ohio, USA does not count Dec 5, 2006 I have a friend that has a black lab/greyhound mix, why do I tell you this, because this beer tastes like the dog smells! Seriously, I got this beer with high hopes, didn’t read about it on here till after I drank it, thought it would be good, I like raspberries and wheat beer, so why wouldn’t I like this? Because everything about it reminded me of my friend’s dog, gross! Don’t get this beer, I’d rather drink Miller light. graham515 (420), Houston, Texas, USA Dec 4, 2006 Bleh, I did not enjoy this brew at all! The only positive thing I can say about this beer is that it kept me from brewing a similar recipe on my own. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 27, 2006 GBof A PA-on tap-pours an off white/purple tint head and hazy gold color. Aroma is fruity, grassy. Taste is raspberry, grassy, wheat. OK carbonation. adwoan99 (244), Ft. Worth, Texas, USA Nov 22, 2006 Basic, nothing bad, but was hoping for more. Pass it up, and get the Lindeman’s Framboise. Taste is basically lager, with a hint of raspberry... aroma is lager, appearance and palate are all lager.
