Pours a hazy amber color with pink edges. Light head. Big berry aroma and flavor. Sweet berry flavor. Light to medium body. This beer is just a little too much. The wife sure does like it. Worth a try.

A train laden with stale raspberry juice leaves Enid, Oklahoma traveling 45 miles per hour; another train, this one carrying spent grain husks, leaves Chicago traveling 60 miles per hour. When they meet on the same track in Des Moines, which train wreck of a beer will they produce?

Abita Purple Haze.

Poured a lavendar color and with an ok head. Raspberries in the aroma, pretty strong. Flavor was obviously of raspberries, but the American wheat grain was pretty strong. Won’t return to this, but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting.

Nice raspberry flavor, pours a light amber. Light, sweet beer to compliment Louisiana summer evenings.

Hazy amber color with a lilac hue and a small white head. Sweet caramel aroma with fruity notes of raspberry and corny notes as well. The flavor was of light fruit and caramel malt. Light to medium body.

This poured light and hazy. The aroma smelled of the raspberry, but the taste was filled with it. It was enjoyable, but overly sweet. Another summer beer.

For an american beer, this is a cross of a Weizen, and a Lambic. Quite a nice falvour! I had this at the LI Beer Fest Friday (Bottle). Recommended to those who like something atypical and sweet.
