Tastes like purple--what do you expect. Still enjoy it for what it is, a novelty.

I had this on my honeymoon in N. O. It seemed like an interesting beer but not much taste. The other Abita’s are far better.

Great overall beer. The raspberries are never overbearing, just add a touch of flavor at the end. Pairs well with most anything.

One of the most UNDERRATED beers IMO.... low ACL. % but its light and tastes good... I don’t believe in fruiting my beer, but if its done in the brewery, I don’t mind :)

To sweet and fruity, for me, my wife liked it the smell is fruity and I liked the appearance reddish gold hazy clearing on the bottom, the lacing went away fast stuck to the glass, early great head diminishing quick. Creamy palate but reminds me that its sweet and fruity. I gave it a 5 overall

A good, light, refreshing beer with a nice fruity aftertaste. Not too overpowered by the raspberry puree that is apparently added after filtration. A perfect beer for the spring!

This beer came highly recommended from a friend who went to Tulane. I am not a fan of fruity beers, but I did enjoy certain qualities of this one. It has a wonderful orange color and a decent head compared to some other wheat beers I’ve had. The fresh raspberry puree definitely adds an interesting tartness, but I wish they left the rest of the beer unfiltered. Easy drinking and would be perfect for a hot summer day. I’ve had some better local (Delaware Valley) interpretations of this style but this beer is pretty solid for a mass produced product.

Out of the bottle. Taste similar to Robitussin; perhaps the CF variety. In fact I think used Robitussin to get the flavor out of my mouth. Waiting to taste it on draft. Apparently this is better.
