Nice beer. Aroma is distinct raspberry. Pours a cloudy orange w/ off white head. Smooth raspberry taste.

Light cloudy gold color. Faint fruity aroma. Good subtle raspberry flavor, not overwhelming but still evident.

First had this on tap at a music festival on a hot afternoon in Lafayette, LA. Loved it from the first sip and still do, but only when it’s on tap. Not nearly as good in the bottle.

Location: You can find this one anywhere, last one I had was a 12 oz bottle at Louisiana Kitchen in Bethesda, MD.
Aroma: Fruity and sweet
Appearance: Hazy orange color, foamy white head.
Flavor: Light, wheat, fruity and smooth
Palate: Light body
Overall Impression:
Not so much a good beer, as a good fruit beer. I mean I don’t love the style, but this one is pretty tasty, super drinkable, and perfect for people who don’t really like strong beers, as it not strong at all, but still has some taste to it. I always suggest this one for non-beer people looking for something slightly (and I do mean slightly) Micro. What can I say? I rated it higher then it deserves, but I like this one, especially on a warm summer day outside, when only a light wheat beer will do.

"From Belmont Station, in Portland, OR. First off, this is a good beer for a hot day, not for mid-January barbeque-manning. Otherwise, things started with a jump, as this poured out an active foamy white head capping a body of very cloudy gold. Aroma was slightly fruity, and the taste was fruity, but more so. Raspberry it certainly was, but the mouthfeel disappointed, being thinnish but at least it did have a certain "snap" to it. Truth be known, I only bought this so as to get another state (Louisiana) onto my stats."

Smells of raspberry... little beer flavor.
Moderate carbonation, aftertaste of raspberry-- the real plant, not a candy version.
Good, just not very beer-like.

I admit to being a little bit of a Abita fanboy; I got hooked on their stuff some time ago when the place I worked at had Turbodog on tap. So I suppose it’s no surprise I like this beer; the raspberry is great, laid in with a light hand so that you just get a faint overtone of the fruit that harmonizes reasonably well with the wheat flavors underneath. No Jolly Rancher here; this is a mature, tasty beer. If it has a weak point, it’s that I would have liked it to be a little more complex and challenging; as it was, it’s one of those beers that are gone before you know it.
