LiebeBier (745), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Jun 27, 2005 Draft - I thought this beer was terrible. Had a sort of mouth puckering, over the top, fake sweetness. Could drink about 3 sips.
darkguardian (195), Florida, USA Oct 1, 2008 Tap at Epcot for the Food and Wine Fest.
Pours a cloudy orange with a foamy almost soapy head. Nose has hints of berry and citrus but not much else. Taste is very refreshing but extremely weak. Kind of like a very tame Hoeegaarden with a very very very slight hint of raspberry. This could have used just a bit more berry to make it stand out. Cause right now its very much like the AB Shock Top. Refreshing on a hot day but not much else. Nose is better than the taste and the palate is very thin. Decent but I’d not get it again if I had better choices. borgination (101), Lee, Massachusetts, USA Sep 28, 2008 This one has a light weat and raspberry scent. I loved the light flavor of raspberry as well, i just wish it was a bit more pronounced. Over all I quite liked it. clasley (139), Arkansas, USA Sep 21, 2008 355 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy apricot with a decent white head. Fruity raspberry nose. Light spritzy body. Mediocre wheat base with hints of apricot and raspberry. Tad sweet in the finish. Trev (541), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Sep 19, 2008 pours a semi-cloudy dark gold with a fleeting thin white head.
Aroma is wet straw yeasty aroma, grainy wheat and a hint of berry.
Flavour is better than the aroma at least. grainy malt and wheat body, again an earthy yeast flavour and a recognizable rasberry finish.
A little thin in the body.
ucusty (1217), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 17, 2008 Cloudy amber pour with reddish hues. Thick white head and minimal lace. Grainy aroma. Cough syrup flavor
