Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pour a cloudy, light orange color with a small, foamy, white head. The head is gone pretty quickly. Aroma: Wheat, grain, and a bit of berry in the nose. Fairly light. Flavor: Light as well unfortunately. A bit of graininess, and some raspberry but a bit on the artificial side. Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall: This one lacks flavor and identity. Good for those girls that aren’t into craft beer. Not recommended.

Cloudy peach-colored pint glass, with minimal head. Looks thick but fruity. Light has trouble passing through. The smell is very sweet and fruity raspberry with a mild dry wheat base. Could use a burnt bitter balance. Underwhelming. The taste is very sweet, but the wheat malt does balance it. Tart. Not bad, better as it warms up a bit. Could use more bitterness. Feels creamy with some dry yeast that remains on the tongue. It’s probably too sweet for many repeats but it’s a decent "guilty pleasure" beer.

Bottle. Pours dull yellow with a small white head and a good amount of sediment visible in the beer. Aroma of wheat. Flavor is cereal with a slight amount of wheat. I almost can’t taste the raspberry. Tastes more like a macro lager than anything else, as it’s a weak beer all around.

pours orange cloudy body. Small white head taste is lacking, says raspberry flavor but flavor and scent are both weak. Tastes of sweeteners and artificial flavoring.

Reviewed 8/8/2009 (Bottle BB ??): Pours an orangish colored cloudy body, with a small whitish head, diminishing. Raspberry aroma, wheaty. Not too strong an aroma. Raspberry wheat taste. Some funkiness in the carbonation, almost tastes like soda water. Not too fruity, okay. Reminds me of a diet soda. Just okay, but a little too much to be refreshing. Has a taste to it, like mos of Abita’s beers. Maybe it’s the spring water? The mouthfeel is definitely different with their beers.

Poured hazy and orange and I want to say a bit pink, but I may have been imagining things. The head was short, white and fizzy. The aroma was dry wheat and sugars and artificial smelling fruit. The flavor was like a kids breakfast cereal. Thin body. Lingering artificial aftertaste. Meh.

~ Purchased a 6-pack from Frank’s Beverage in Glen Cove, NY. Hazy orange in color with almost no head, there’s really not much going on here in the appearance department. Aromas are of raspberries and wheat. Taste is the same. It’s certainly refreshing, but that’s about all this beer has to offer. ~
