3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very dark with a small mocha head and plenty of lacing. Mild aroma of roast, grass, and chocolate. Taste is roasty, a touch sweet, and a touch bitter. Medium-full bodied and creamy. No oyster... Bummer. Oh well, this is a really good abita, though its not that good of a stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ Nobi .. deep brown .. mild foam .. simple stout, hardly imperial but still a nice beer, the abv is very well done but the palate is a bit weak .. .. ..
The other children they were very nasty to me about that.
They said bad, hurtful things to me.
They called me Tasty-Cakes and they would beat me and stick pine cones in my ass.
Those were very bad times.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black pour with large tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste of malts, chocolate, slight hops, and faint saltiness. Medium carbonation and alcohol well hidden, pretty good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Oyster stout seems like a perfect fit for a LA brew but this one has disappointingly little brine. Still, a very good stout with chocolate and coffee notes and a nice bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at the Brass Tap, poured a dark black color with aromas of light cooca, roast, some earth and a touch of coffee. Flavors are the same with a nice earthy aftertaste. Not much oyster flavor in there, dont know i there should be, but ok stout overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A black appearance with a beige head. Aroma contains some chocolate and caramel but a faint aroma. The flavor is rather bitter with some coffee and dark chocolate. There is salty presence to it. Overall a good stout.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Appearance: jet black, absolutely opaque, small tan head with a little lacing
Aroma: chocolate, coffee
Taste: rich chocolate, coffee
Palate: thicker, leaves a chocolate aftertaste
Overall: I'm still perplexed at how these chocolate beers score so well, perhaps it's my palate, I just taste chocolate and coffe, they say its boiled with oysters but its not prevalent in the flavor
