Atlanta, Ga - Taco Mac - Lindbergh - on tap. Hazy dark orange pour, soft snow white head, light lacing. Light bubble gum and artificial berry aroma. Cotton candy sweetness, light hint of berry sweetness, some light vanilla notes. Mouthfeel has a decent creaminess to it. So-so.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the Cincy Brew Ha Ha. Hard to tell the color once the sun was down, but it appeared to be a golden orange with a little off-white head. Notes of sweet raspberry, sweet malts, sugar, straw, grains, dried apricot, and crackers. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, malty, fruity candy mouthfeel. Not really my thing but I actually like it a little more than Purple Haze.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Craft and Growler. Amber pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor of the beer are very full of fruit and very sweet. I get a ton of raspberry notes, but the sweetness makes the beer a bit hard to drink. The beer is also fairly boozy. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: The body is a clear amber with a purple tinge through it. The head is dense and white, but short lived.
Aroma: The aroma is pretty mild, but it’s clean with hints of raspberry. Not offensive, rather nice actually.
Taste: Clean malts up front with raspberry building in strength by the finish and lingering a moment.
Overall: This is a deceptive beer. I don’t think anyone would guess it’s 8% if they didn’t know. It’s a nice beer that attracts people who normally don’t drink beer.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
Mild raspberry aroma. Clear amber, thin head, good lace. Mild raspberry flavor with a malty end. Thin, watery mouthfeel, alcohol not noticeable. A little artificial tasting, actually weaker than regular purple haze, but drier.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Amber not quite berryish color. Flavor is ncie breadiness, vry good lager underneath, tart raspberries. Too sweet, but then again the standard version is too sweet so I would say this is better.
