3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fairly basic pilsner aroma, with a touch of hops. Pours a clear golden, with a big white head, and very visible carbonation. Not a bad pilsner, a bit more sweet malts and less hops then I prefer in my pilsners. Fairly light in the palate, and the alcohol is not noticeable. I may pick up another bottle of this or two before summer ends.

"An ok pilsner with grassy hops and hay, but like G said, lacking the pleasant crispness and a little sweet leaning. For $4.50, it’s about twice the price per ounce i’d want to pay for something like this, and wouldn’t again."

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: this beer pours with a very large off white head, it takes a while to pour down and ends up pretty dense, the beer is a clear light gold color Aroma: lemon, bread, cream, perhaps wheat, Taste: very lightly roasted malt, light grain, banana, some bitterness towards the end but it’s pretty subdued, Palate: average carbonation, moderate mouthfeel, slight alcohol on the finish Overall: a pretty good pilsner, it’s subdued but that’s to be expected for this style, hides the abv well and goes down easy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy orange amber. White foamy ring. Orangish wheat beer. Fuller than Hoegarden et al. but not dissimilar. Challah toast with marmalade. Orange blossom honey. Drying tannins. Not awful, but not great. Still a great cause.
