COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring IPA (March-May) is a West Coast-style IPA with an up-front intense hop flavor and aroma. Amarillo and Centennial hops give the brew a rich and resinous flavor of citrus and spice. This bright pale ale has a malt sweetness that will give way to a pleasant bitter. It pairs well with Mexican or spicy Szechwan Chinese food. Spring IPA is a nice accompaniment for cheeses with strong flavors, like sharp cheddar or goat cheese.

Bottle from a sampler pack. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a layer of cream colored head. Aroma of floral hops. Taste is upfront hops with some back end citrus.

Ottima IPA stagionale, molto fresca e dissetante. Bel colore ambrato carico e buona schiuma bianca. Molto profumata, erbaceo e fruttato. Corpo leggero, poco carbonata, beverina e gustosa al tempo stesso, con i luppoli da aroma in evidenza che ne esaltano la freschezza. Amaro presente e gradevole.

Meh. An average IPA. I always wonder if the people writing the commercial description have even tried the beer. West Coast style this isn’t. Aroma was spruce, pine and caramel. Pour was beautiful. A medium gold with a 2 finger head and tiny bubbles rising from the bottom non-stop. Very enticing. Taste was so so. Malt forward with caramel malt being the main flavor. Some pine in there as well, but not much hop flavor to speak of. Good beer but not a good IPA. Nice carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy amber color. Aroma is resinous pine, floral hops. Taste is fresh honey, caramel sweetness, with just the right amount of bitterness to balance nicely. Overall what-it’s-supposed-to-be IPA...

12oz bottle poured medium amber with a large and durable off-white head. Aroma: light on hops for style. Flavor: Pronounced hops appropriate for style. Herbal and flowery hops. Moderately bitter. O. Looks great, smells good, but the taste is a bit disappointing albeit appropriately bitter and hoppy.

Bottle. Nice spring refresher ... Orange-golden hay color, pretty big whipped head. The aroma is nice, fresh cut and enticing. It drinks with some nice American IPA points -- citric for sure -- but also brings a light summery aspect, a little wheat and sunshine. (#5553, 6/15/2014)

Nice straight forward IPA here. Nothing flashy, but definitely hits the right notes for the style. Citrus and pine in nose, with citrus coming through in flavor, nice wet mouth feel. I enjoy the malt bill on this. Good.

Short, 12oz Abita bottle. Pale pour, golden color. Rich white head, sexy lacing. Floral scent, pale grains, stinky socks. Dominate malt character in the nose. Bitter hops flavor. Loads of pine and citrus, great flavor of malts. (4079)

Pours a darker golden color with white head. Very floral on the nose, some citrus and pine too; follows onto the palate. Finishes florally.
