COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring IPA (March-May) is a West Coast-style IPA with an up-front intense hop flavor and aroma. Amarillo and Centennial hops give the brew a rich and resinous flavor of citrus and spice. This bright pale ale has a malt sweetness that will give way to a pleasant bitter. It pairs well with Mexican or spicy Szechwan Chinese food. Spring IPA is a nice accompaniment for cheeses with strong flavors, like sharp cheddar or goat cheese.

12oz bottle pours a cloudy amber with a thin white head and decent lacing. Aromas of, citrus, dough, and resin. Flavor is mild citrus bitter with a peppery finish. Not too bad.

Bottle. Moderate malt and hop aromas of bread, roasted, and herbs, Light to moderate soap for the yeast, with notes of wood and papper. Head is average size, creamy, white with thick, slipper lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is slightly hazy yet sparkling light to medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation. This IPA looks and tastes better than is smells.

It puts a clear copper/gold with a large white head. This IPA has your classic IPA aroma. It is crisp with sharp resin and herb hops with hints of citrus. The taste is medium to heavy bitterness with a slight sweetness. Light to medium body with a somewhat sticky texture. The finish is considerably bitter and hangs around just a bit. I would look for this in a bar and buy a few at the right price.

Ottima IPA stagionale, molto fresca e dissetante. Bel colore ambrato carico e buona schiuma bianca. Molto profumata, erbaceo e fruttato. Corpo leggero, poco carbonata, beverina e gustosa al tempo stesso, con i luppoli da aroma in evidenza che ne esaltano la freschezza. Amaro presente e gradevole.

Meh. An average IPA. I always wonder if the people writing the commercial description have even tried the beer. West Coast style this isnít. Aroma was spruce, pine and caramel. Pour was beautiful. A medium gold with a 2 finger head and tiny bubbles rising from the bottom non-stop. Very enticing. Taste was so so. Malt forward with caramel malt being the main flavor. Some pine in there as well, but not much hop flavor to speak of. Good beer but not a good IPA. Nice carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy amber color. Aroma is resinous pine, floral hops. Taste is fresh honey, caramel sweetness, with just the right amount of bitterness to balance nicely. Overall what-itís-supposed-to-be IPA...

12oz bottle poured medium amber with a large and durable off-white head. Aroma: light on hops for style. Flavor: Pronounced hops appropriate for style. Herbal and flowery hops. Moderately bitter. O. Looks great, smells good, but the taste is a bit disappointing albeit appropriately bitter and hoppy.

Bottle. Nice spring refresher ... Orange-golden hay color, pretty big whipped head. The aroma is nice, fresh cut and enticing. It drinks with some nice American IPA points -- citric for sure -- but also brings a light summery aspect, a little wheat and sunshine. (#5553, 6/15/2014)
