3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden amber with a 3 finger off-white head. Nice citrus aroma. Med body or near. Flavor is firm citrus over mild caramel with some spice. Itís bitter, but itís not harsh. It almost imparts a hop burn. Well it builds to a hop burn. Itís not as hopped as the hoppiest NW brews, but it qualifies as West Coast. Iím thinking this is underrated.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange pour with a white head. Nose is extremely sweet. Like lemon candies and vanilla. Some floral hops, bread, mild caramel, sugar, and grass. The flavor is just as sweet. Lots of bread, caramel, sugar, and candied lemon. Hints of vanilla, mild grape, grass, and some floral hops. Very minimal bitterness.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, floral and candied citrus hops. The taste is intense candied citrus, some fresh citrus and mild caramel malts. Medium bodied. Decent.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle pours with a slight hazed gold body with copper hues and supporting a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up citrus and pine hoppy goodness grounded in sweet maltiness. The taste has pleasing grapefruit and tangelo like citrusy hops that are sweetened up nicely with malts but they still seem to maintain a hoppy bitter bite with a pine to almost floral hop bitterness. OK, very nice IPA and my new favorite from Abita, by a wide margin too. My second favorite scores a 3.5. Iíd be happy to try this again.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarkets - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, slight haze, nice lacing with a soft white head. Aroma has some resiny hoppiness, a hint of spruce. Flavor is sharp with a definite citrus bite, some grassiness, a hint of saffron-like spiciness. Mouthfeel has a slight bite to it. Leans a bit to the one-dimensional side - but not half bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Hazy gold with a tall, fluffy white head. Big floral hops, strong citrus, light pine and caramel in the nose. Taste is big citrus (mainly orange), tropical fruit, floral hops, caramel, sweet malt, light pine and zesty hoppiness. Body is medium and slightly sticky with a moderate, bubbly carbonation. Lingering hops bitterness and mild resinous feel on the palate. Ends with more tropical fruit, orange juice, citrus oils, pine, floral hops, caramel notes and sweet malt. Tasty!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Faintly cloudy orange, with a frothy white head. Smells nicely citrusy, with notes of grassy, too. Taste is clean and crisp, citrus, with a subtle bit of sweet malt. Not bad, I could drink this again...

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This draft brew from the brew pub poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent dark orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and bready. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of wheat breads and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
