COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring IPA (March-May) is a West Coast-style IPA with an up-front intense hop flavor and aroma. Amarillo and Centennial hops give the brew a rich and resinous flavor of citrus and spice. This bright pale ale has a malt sweetness that will give way to a pleasant bitter. It pairs well with Mexican or spicy Szechwan Chinese food. Spring IPA is a nice accompaniment for cheeses with strong flavors, like sharp cheddar or goat cheese.

Ottima IPA stagionale, molto fresca e dissetante. Bel colore ambrato carico e buona schiuma bianca. Molto profumata, erbaceo e fruttato. Corpo leggero, poco carbonata, beverina e gustosa al tempo stesso, con i luppoli da aroma in evidenza che ne esaltano la freschezza. Amaro presente e gradevole.

This may be the best Abita beer Ive had. The hops are intense up front but with enough floral notes to be quite tasty. Also a good crispness to the finish. Excellent.

Very drinkable beer. Great floral aroma to compliment the nice hoppy IPA flavor. Not overly hoppy like some IPAs... just right.

draft, hoppy aroma, light brown pour, thick foam head. lively co2, light body for an ipa, but excellent hoppy taste. great tasting brew, one of my favs as ipas.

Abita Spring IPA has a very thick, frothy, off-white head, and a semi-clear, orange-golden appearance, with some haze, a few brown yeast specks, and a good amount of splotchy lacing left around the glass. The aroma is of sweet, grapefruit citrus and some pine oil, and the flavor is similar with lots of sugary sweetness and white bread. Mouthfeel is medium, soft, and slick, and Abita Spring IPA finishes dry, refreshing, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is a very tasty and enjoyable beer, and I hope beer fans can get a hold of it! Light but flavorful. I got it in a build your own six pack and went back a few days later for more.

Really nice refreshing beer. The hop selection was mild, citrus, grassy but so clean a great touch. Not too much malt to try to compete with the hops, but summer crisp and clean drinking. Very nice!

Bottle. Pours a clear and dark golden color with a moderate white head. Nose has some nice floral and citrus elements in there. Taste is a little bitter, but stays rather light. An easy and crisp drink. Aptly named for how it turned out.

12oz bottle pours with a slight hazed gold body with copper hues and supporting a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up citrus and pine hoppy goodness grounded in sweet maltiness. The taste has pleasing grapefruit and tangelo like citrusy hops that are sweetened up nicely with malts but they still seem to maintain a hoppy bitter bite with a pine to almost floral hop bitterness. OK, very nice IPA and my new favorite from Abita, by a wide margin too. My second favorite scores a 3.5. Id be happy to try this again.
