Commercial Description:
Ripe, red Louisiana strawberries are harvested at the peak of the season in the early morning chill. The scent of the juicy red Ponchatoula berries fills the air as they’re picked and pressed for Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager. The end result is a light, crisp lager with just a hint of strawberry sweetness.

Nice Beer! ... This one surprised me quite a bit!... very fresh real strawberry flavour and smell, the smell is delicious!....sweet and refreshing, with a light mellowness...the taste is very real, not at all synthetic! ... if you enjoy fruit beers, this one is very drinkable and delicious!

pours a thin watery yellow. Smells kind of like bad strawberries. Taste is better. A decent strawberry flavor but has some weird sugary aftertaste. Not bad at all but not that good. Wouldn’t buy again

Found a sixer of this at a local gas station and had to give it a shot. Clear golden pour with a pretty good head. The aroma isn’t nearly as filled with strawberry as I was hoping. Very, very faint aroma of berries with the usual lager yeastiness. Fairly average tasting lager with the exception of a metallic aftertaste and the faintest of berry flavors. Just ok to me.

yellow watery pour with a layer of froth. slight strawberry scent with cardboard in the background. strawberry taste that reminds me of bad kool aid, but this has a cardboard aftertaste as well.

Bottle. Pours a thin but lively syrup yellow with an aroma of strawberry syrup cereal and grass. Flavor is a thin veil of dew-covered strawberry with a tinge of floral grass in the finish. Watery mouthfeel. Not bad, but definitely not the best example of a fruit beer.

Appearance is yellowish amber with a thick head that laces the glass. I can’t detect much of an aroma- slight hint of strawberry. LOVE the flavor!! SLightly bitter, strawberry, barley, wheat... smooth on the palate with a crisp finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a strong strawberry. The taste is a watery strawberry and a sweet finish. Not too much with this one.

Candy smell with a clean yellow color. The flavor is too strong and offensive. If one wants to taste the flavor of strawberries, it’s best to eat strawberries.
