12 oz bottle. $4 a six pack at Trader Joe’s :) It pours a super clear yellow color with a disappearing white head. Filtered lager. The aroma is straight up strawberries and cream. Very faint wheat and pilsner maltiness. I can tell already this falls into the category of an over fruited light beer. The flavor is very strong with more strawberries and cream. Sweet and a touch cloying as there is no tartness for balance, but it’s refreshing and devoid of major flaws. Actually this is noticeably above the Shock Top and Blue Moon stuff and a touch above most similar brewpub stuff. Not bad, especially for the price. Be ready for a lot of strawberry though.

Hazy yellow pour. Small white head with a little bit of lacing. Big perfumy strawberry aroma. A strange strawberry flavor. Much like a strawberry flavored soda. Almost cherry-like. Not bad.

Bottle. $3.99 for a six pack at Torrance, CA Trader Joe’s. Best buy date of 8/25/13. Have not seen any Abita beers at Trader Joe’s before. I wonder if this one will stick around. LIght gold pour. Big white head. Aroma is strawberry, poundcake, whipped cream and yogurt. I like the aroma. Flavor is strawberries, some slightly sweet white bread, and wheat malts. Body is a little heavy for a lager. Level of carbonation is medium. I haven’t had anything like this before. It’s interesting. I’m going to have another and see if there is anything I can add to this rating

Bland BMC type lager with a distant exposure to strawberries. Drank from the bottle so as to not "pollute" my glass for my next true craft ale!

[US West Coast Trip 2013] intressant, inget wow direkt. Klassa som fruit beer. Enkelt förklarat är detta en lager med några stänk jordgubbssaft i. Ingen förändring i färgen eller tjockleken. Aroman är behaglig med en syrlig jordgubbs doft. Smaken likaså.

This is a good fruit beer. It tastes like a White mixed with sweet strawberry juice. Nice golden pour, almost no head. Thin in the mouth but still a very decent fruit beer. I’d drink it again.

Probably my favorite fruit beer. Drink it cold on a hot, sticky day. Immediately after opening I can get a whiff of strawberries. Pours a light, hazy straw-like color. A bit on the sweet side. The strawberries do not taste artificial. I drink most beers a little warm, and this one is not good unless cold. Even though it might be my second favorite Abita, the mouth feel is a little off.

I have to smell every beer when I open them. When a buddy handed me my first Abita Strawberry, I knew this would be a favorite after the first smell.

Aroma is hay and strawberries. Pours a light hay blonde color with no head or lacing. A really nice malt flavor to compliment the fruit. A good offering from abita.

Nice strawberry flavor, not too sweet. Actually prefer this over the popular abita purple haze. Perfect beer for summer drinking.
