The aroma is light berries, some grass and grains. Flavor is a light lager of subtle cereal grains, sweet berries, and sweet malts. Body is thin, finish is clean yet sweet. satan165 (566), River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2009 nice aroma of strawberries and none too chemical. flavor is very dry and quite bitter as well. like their purple haze, the fruit flavor is quite muted and might even be called subtle, despite the over the top aromas in this one. i guess that works to its advantage, though i still have no interest in this style after an example like this. hombrepalo (763), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 29, 2009 12 oz bottle from Archer Liquors. This poured a thin watery yellow, some head. Smells kind of like pop tarts. Taste is similar but a bit better. A decent strawberry flavor but has some weird sugary aftertaste. Not bad at all, better than I thought it would be. topherh (899), Kearney, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 28, 2009 Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet strawberry. Flavor is not as strong as the aroma. There is definitely a strawberry flavor that mixes well with the breadiness and hint of butter. Almost shortcake like. Very enjoyable. drazil91 (39), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 25, 2009 Nice strawberry aroma, excellent head. Not bad for a session/lawnmower brew. Fruit beers are disdained by some, but the wife plans on making beer bread with it. I will drink more of it. Cavie (1372), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2009 Clouded yellow. Strong sweet smell. Strawberries are definitely present. Tingle over the palate. Not quite as sweet as I would have hoped. Strawberries add aroma and not much flavor. Still has a citrus acidity feeling regardless of the fruit choice. Bready finish. Almost has a tea finish. Extra point for the aroma. Sparky27 (1586), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a one finger snow white head. The nose is malt and strawberry saltwater taffy. The taste is malt, wheat and some light strawberry in the finish. The flavor is far less sweet than the aroma suggests which is a good thing. Medium mouthfeel. Not bad really for what it is. A nice summer beer. hopscotch (5474), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 16, 2009 Bottle... Lightly hazed, straw-colored lager with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. The aroma is grainy and biscuity with a nice touch of strawberry extract and a whisper of buttery diacetyl. Light-bodied and mildly creamy with tingly carbonation. Lightly sweet; lightly tart flavor with some strawberry essence. Crisp, lightly bitter finish.
