AmEricanbrew (1132), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Apr 22, 2008 Clear pale yellow color with a frothy short lived head. Aroma is strawberry syrup with some herb/spice. Medium body and smooth. Decent flavor is strawberries with some lightly sweet bready malts, think liquid strawberry shortcake. Has a mild bitterness to finish. Very easy drinking garden beer here, this fruit lager works.
jbuzz (566), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Nov 30, 2008 tasted like someone dropped a starburst into a lite beer. very light candy sweet beer. Shag (1811), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Oct 21, 2008 A golden appearance with a white head. The aroma is of course strawberries with some corn notes. The flavor consists of strawberry syrup and some grassy notes as well. Easy drinking and not over powering in the strawberry dept. Overall not bad for some hot weather drinking. bhensonb (3136), Woodland, California, USA Oct 17, 2008 Bottle from Sun Devil in Mesa, AZ. Golden color with a creamy white head. Truly smells like strawberries. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. First rush made me think of homemade strawberry ice cream ( haven’t had that for a number of decades!). Downhill from there, but it’s still a good drink - probably for around the pool - once every other week or so. Brave Abita. KnutAlbert (2462), Oslo, Norway Oct 14, 2008 Bottle from a NYC deli.
An innocent-looking pale lager, a little fruity aroma - the rest is strawberry syrup. Sticky sweet - you could possibly marinate something in it. JK (2509), uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Oct 12, 2008 Creamy with real strawberry flavor. Light pink color. This is Considerably better than I expected, good, smooth palate.
