Commercial Description:
Ripe, red Louisiana strawberries are harvested at the peak of the season in the early morning chill. The scent of the juicy red Ponchatoula berries fills the air as they’re picked and pressed for Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager. The end result is a light, crisp lager with just a hint of strawberry sweetness.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of strawberries / berries, and grains. Tastes of strawberries (more so than the aromas). Thinner body.

Bottle... Lightly hazed, straw-colored lager with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. The aroma is grainy and biscuity with a nice touch of strawberry extract and a whisper of buttery diacetyl. Light-bodied and mildly creamy with tingly carbonation. Lightly sweet; lightly tart flavor with some strawberry essence. Crisp, lightly bitter finish.

(12oz. bottle) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of strawberry ice cream, grain, and husky. Flavor of strawberry yogurt, hops (grass), jelly, and powder sugared waffles.

12oz bottle–pours a foamy white head that laces and hazy yellow color. Aroma is strawberry, grain. Taste is strawberry, grain/wood, spice hops-then some lemon. While the hops aren’t at the front of taste, they do dominate slightly. Towards medium body. Good carbonation. Good, easy, but not watery beer with some hops bite presence. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing.

Pours amber with a white head. Possesses a lot of the fake fruit aroma and taste of their other fruit beers. Crisp finish. Nothing special.

12 oz bottle. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of strawberries and pale malt but there is a very artificial chemically component. Flavour has a fake strawberry, butyric rancidity, and a nasty sour spoiled nuttiness. Wet grain/cereal finish and a burned plastic finish. Ugh.

This is one of those "Why" beers. Why did they brew it? Why am I drinking it? It’s tolerable, but nothing that I’d care to repeat. It has a clear yellow/gold body with active carbonation and a thicj white head. The aroma is vanilla and strawberry candy. Some pale malt is detectable in the flavor, but then the candy surges forward again. Time to brush my teeth.
