Commercial Description:
Ripe, red Louisiana strawberries are harvested at the peak of the season in the early morning chill. The scent of the juicy red Ponchatoula berries fills the air as they’re picked and pressed for Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager. The end result is a light, crisp lager with just a hint of strawberry sweetness.

Great for what it is....a strawberry beer. Very sweet and sugary with not much beer taste. It is excellent for its style but not as a overall.

This contained far too much strawberry flavor. Taste reminded me of the strawberry daiquiris synonymous for the area where this is brewed. Too sweet and off target.

12 oz bottle. Hazy yellow, cloudy, carbonated with little head. Huge strawberry nose. Taste is not as huge as the nose, very carbonated. No hop or malt profile. One is enough.

Bottle. Pours a light straw color, with a bit of haze, and some reddish sediment (strawberries?) in the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is light malt and strawberries. The flavor is not much else. A bit sweet and a fairly light body. Almost more of a cooler than a beer. But, enjoyable for a change of pace. But, I wouldn’t have more than one at a time.

pours a thin watery yellow. Smells kind of like bad strawberries. Taste is better. A decent strawberry flavor but has some weird sugary aftertaste. Not bad at all but not that good. Wouldn’t buy again

12oz bottle. hazy yellow pour with a finger or so sudsy white head. candied strawberry aroma. thin flavor of malt, strawberries, vanilla and grain. kinda a shocker on the first sip - but seems more bearable on repeat tastes. light fruit and malts up front and sharp acidic bite through the finish.

Not too great. Large, frothy, white head. Ever so slight haze to the yellow body. Aroma = grass + strawberry + cream. Tastes like strawberry yogurt with some fizziness.

Pours a hazy yellowish color with a short lived smallish white head. Smell is sweet malt and strawberry candy, and a bit strange. Taste is like strawberry cereal and reminds me of the milk at the bottom of the bowl. Medium bodied with normal carbonation. Hint of odd sourness. Not that great.
