I was disappointed by the aroma or lack of. The flavor had a hint of strawberry sweetness. Nothing much else going on. Good for the summer.

Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager is a hazy, sparkling very pale golden lager with a small white head that vanishes very quickly. It has a faint aroma of fruit and grass. It smells like a wet barrel. There’s a little sweetness in the nose and strawberries are detected. It’s light bodied and lively; smooth with a clean finish. It’s very lightly flavored. Strawberry jam is the primary flavor. It’s just a little bit sweet and not bitter at all. This is barely beer, but it’s fun to drink. This is one of those things you can just slam out in the hot sun.

...the nose fools you, strong strawberry notes, but the flavor doesn’t support it. Pinkish clear pour, small plight pink head, with strawberry flavor on the finish. Maybe some malt in there too, but nothing special.

Wow. The head on this beer is atrocious and the beer I found to be horrific as well. Tastes like old mushy fake strawberries. A strangely okay dry finish, but I couldn’t even drink 2 full ounces. Based on these scores maybe my bottle was old, but I hated this.

Nothing exciting here, but nothing offensive, either. Pale gold body with a minimal white head. Mild strawberry and wheat aroma. Medium palate with decent carbonation. The flavor is less fresh strawberry and more Frankenberry! It’s not overly sweet by any means, though. It’s light, crisp, and refreshing. Not bad.

Hazy light gold with thin white cap.
Scent is mild strawberry, light wheat.
Taste is strawberry "flavoring"....not an actual strawberry-ness, not even sweet or sour...just sort of "there".
This one goes in the wine-cooler category.
Only a hint of beer. Moderately tasty, but why bother?

Aroma is a mix of strawberries and Orange Julius-like citrus. The flavor is strawberry shortbread, grains and a mild sweetness.

I am a fan of most Abita beers and this one is no different. It has a nice refreshing taste with a nice hint of strawberry. This beer is popular in my town and is very hard to find in stores. Will have again next season. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle poured to a shaker at Lunar Brewing Co.. Displayed a hazed, orange/golden hue, with a finger width of white head foam that reduced quickly to a ring & film, and left some minimal spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was light notes of strawberry and grain, with a hint of butterscotch. The butterscotch was more prevalent in the flavor, and masked any light fruit notes. Subtly sweet, light bodied, lively carbonated and effervescent. Basically refreshing, but big "D" flawed.
