I enjoy this strong, chocolate beer. Very rich and filling. You can’t drink too many of this one. Just relax, sip and enjoy,

Deep dark black with a little bit of head. Sweeter than I expected with a nice malt backbone and just bitter enough hop profile.

Neighbor brought this over. Not a bad brown ale. Nutty, caramel, the touch of earthy hops makes it interesting enough.

Middle of the road brown ale with some chocolate, toffee and roasted flavors. A little too light on the body and rather watery on the disappointingly short finish.

This is a decent representation of the style. Nearly black in color with thin head, but some lacing. Caramel, toffee, and sweet malt in the flavor. Enough of a hop presence to somewhat balance.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- this has a strong malt aroma Appearance- – A dark brown color with a large head. . Taste- – A malt overload, this has a strong flavor Palate-– this is a medium bodied beer with a creamy texture Overall-– not a horrible example of an English Brown Ale but it was just okay in my book Comments – Thanks to BigLove for sending this one cross-country. This is the sleeper of the Abita line.

This beer really surprised me. When I first tasted it I thought, whoa I made a mistake. But after the first few sips it seemed to do the opposite of what most beers do. It got better, not worse. It is an interesting unique beer with a distinct almost toffee or bubble gum lollipop flavor, which does not sound appealing for a beer. But in its own way it is really good. Head minimal mouthfeel meh, but taste a pleasant surprise. To top it off it is almost as smooth and easy to drink as a big box american lager beer (water).

Nice deep copper brown color, head quickly dissipated. Kind of bland flavor but still not a bad brown ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown, with tall light tan head. Chocolatey aroma. Flavor has chocolate and toffee. Semi-sweet finish. Decent.

Very mild and enjoyable. Balanced with tastes that are all good and not overpowering. Notes include chocolate toffee. Ok not great.

Birra ordinaria, marrone intensa Con schiuma color caffellatte. Odore di orzo, liquirizia e poche noci, che si susseguono nello stesso modo anche in bocca. Corpo snello e tessitura acquosa. Birra bevibile
