May 10, 2001 Very impressive, soft chocolatey brown ale. This beer is a classic in my opinion. The nose is nice and malty, with big sweet malt and chocolate malt aromas. The palate is soft with more chocolate malt flavor, and a touch of coffee. Turbo Dog finishes with more chocolate malt goodness. This is a very malt accented beer. Goes great with desert.

does not count Jun 27, 2007 No complaints hear except for when I hand this out in a cup to my friends when they are expecting coca cola. The beer is that dark. Taste is great. Another well-made Abita beer.

Apr 26, 2007 One of my all time favorite beers. It is dark and heavy, with a great aroma and taste. Has a hint of chocolate or coffee in the flavor.
