Brown ales usually need a catchy name to make them marketable and this one is no different. Fill in the standard checklist for brown ale qualities and you will have this beer. It is not a bad beer just one you have to be in the mood to drink or you really like the name.

Draft. Dark brown. Very light chocolate on the aroma and taste with sweet toffee notes and some bread crust. Sweet rich finish. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from a sampler pack. Pours a dark brown with thin spotty tan head. Aroma of chocolate and caramel. Taste is the same with weird carbonation.

Caramel and slight chocolate aromas, no big hitters. Small off white head, lasting. Smooth mouth feel, low carbonation. Low sweetness, low bitters at end of taste range. Leaving the mouth at the beginning stages of a dry. I imagine the palate profile will get better with warmth. But I'm ending the review. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

I preface this with the fact that I am not a beer snob, nor will I turn down free beer... normally. However, this beer was just... terrible. The chocolate-toffee taste it claims is laughable. It literally tastes like somebody stirred a tablespoon of brown sugar in a budweiser and rebottled it. A subpar peer compared to other 8 dollar six packs. Wonít drink this ever again, even if itís free.

From 345 ml bottle. Pours a deep cola brown with honey coloured highlights at the edge and a small off-white head that settles to a thin cap. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, flowers, dark bread, pie crust and raisins. Taste is soft fruit at the start that quickly resolves into rich caramel and milk chocolate and a light roast bitterness. Lightly spicy aftertaste. Good US brown.

TheJestersBeer (2033) - SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2014
355ml bottle. Pours a medium to dark mahogany brown, with a beige head. Quite roasted, malty, faintly sour aroma, toffee, diacetyl, hops. Dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, roasted, slightly watery taste, caramel, chocolate, hops, faintly sour? This feels more like a dark lager than a brown ale. (2014-01-31)

Bottle, label says 5.6% ABV. 10C. Dark brown with a beige head that fades to a coat. Aroma of spiced chocolate and singed caramel. Moderately sweet with toffee, chocolate and spices. Pleasant enough.
