Pours dark gold with a thin bone white head. Very little lacing. Aroma is appropriately wheaty. Light-bodied and somewhat crisp, and the wheat flavor is not very pronounced which made it more palatable for me since I do not like Wheats, but doesn't suit what the brewer should be aiming for. This is definitely leaning toward a Lager to me. Finish is light and crisp, and overall this beer is very simple.

Aug 25, 2008 12oz bottle(7/20/08)-A clear golden body with a small white head. Has the aroma of wheat, skunk, and malt. The flavor is of malt, wheat, and some sweetness. This light bodied brew is pretty boring for a wheat.

Jul 27, 2008 short, twlst-off, 12oz bottle. Clear golden color, white fizzy head. American Wheat? Golden/Blonde Ale. Nope. Its a lager. Aroma of bread crust. It flavor is something interesting. Miso soup. Imitation Miso soup made from unsalted saltines. Classic, traditional, yet missing something major. Overall this beer is clean and refreshing. Better than average for an Abita.

Jul 20, 2008 Pretty dissapointing, American Wheats overall are kind of bland in my opinion. Not enough wheat!! Bright golden, medium sized head. Wheat aroma is very faint. Touch of citrus fruit, hint of lime and a little bready at times.

Pours a clear golden color withe a thin film off almost white head that sticks around for a few minutes. Smell is under arms and funky farts with a spritz of wheaty lemon. Flavor is dough and not very interesting. High carbonation.
