(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct 2012) Reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, chocolate, orange peel and subtle aromas of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark bread, dark fruit, hints of smoke and a spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Smoke character is quite subtle, but gives an interesting twist to the usually boring Åbro brews. Quite decent.

Draught@SBWF2012. Deep ambery brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is smoked malts, tar, some sweet malts as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is smoked wet wood, toffee, mild roasted malts as well as some slight bitter fruityness. Nice one!

Draught. Pours a deep copper, with a beige head. Malty, smoky aroma, caramel, toffee. Dry, light to medium body, medium bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty, slightly smoky taste, caramel, apricot. Quite OK. (2012-10-04)

Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival 2012) - Copper with a slight haze and a small head. Fruity, malty and slightly smoked aroma with notes of dried fruit, caramel and ash. Fruity, smoky and slightly sweet taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit and smoked malt. Not bad, the smoke is noticeable, yet fairly subtle.

Bottled at SBWF. Clear nut brow, rich head. Metallic nose with slight smoke. Sweetish with medium body and clean mouthfeel. A bit of smoke, some boiled vegetables. clean and hard with notes of tin in a finish with low bitterness. Even if the rauchmalz component is pleasant it retain the character of macro lager.
