Tap at the Green Lion, Malmo. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin light tan head and some broken lace. The aroma is roasted malt and creamy caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich creamy malt coffee hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Not what I expected from Abro. A pleasant surprise indeed.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2013) Black colour with huge, creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark rye bread and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, black rye bread and a gentle, roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made, but hardly exciting. Quite enjoyable.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Black with a tan head. A lot of coffee, both in the aroma and taste. Also some roasted malt, light notes of fruit. An ok one with a fairly long finish.
