COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Light straw with a small, white head. The aroma has light notes of wheat, banana and other fruit and I miss a somewhat stronger touch of spices. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of wheat, banana, a light sourness and too little spice. The overall impression is OK, but too watery.

Hazy yellow of color with a small white head. An aroma of abricot, wheat, sweets and a hint of yeast. A flavor of wheat, banana and hints of yeast.

(50 cl bottle at The Rover, Göteborg - looked like the last bottle though) Classic wheat beer banana estery scent. Shady straw yellow color, big white head. Malty banana taste, but a bit weak. Normal mouthfeel. Fruity aftertaste.

Bottled. Hazy pale orange color, small white head. Leather in the nose, some banana notes but mostly sour aroma. Sourish, fruity, wheaty. Witbier feeling here. Light and boring.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Pale golden, small white head. Fruity wheat aroma. Thin fruity flavor with some banana. Watery but still better than most Åbro beers.

Deeply hazy off-yellow with little white head. Aroma of banana and quite a bit of hops. Quite low carbonated. A bit peppery and bitter. But it still has a freshness over other hefe-weizen. Okay

Bottle. Totally opaque yellow with a nice crisp head. Very fruity nose. Refreshing, but a disappointing metallic note in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy yellow, white head etc... Standard wheatbeer looks. Nice nose of banana and buttermilk leading to a flavors dominated by wheat acidity and more than a hint hint of lactic acid. Lively palate and a really "fat" buttery feeling in the mouth. A lot better than expected - I especially liked the very un-german butterlike notes, which reminded me of Celis White. Propably it was not intentional - but still very nice.
