Pours dark brown with a lacing head. Buttery toffee aroma. Smooth, buttery toffee flavour with some ashy burnt notes. Not too shabby for a beer from Åbro.

omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2012
Bottled. Clear dark brown, small head. Toasty licorice and bread aroma. Sweetish with clean mouthfeel. Plenty of boiled vegetables before a metalluc finish full of stale butter. The terrible off flavours and aggressive metallic harshness makes it a drain pour.

gyllenbock (1910) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2012
Bottle. Clear dark amber with a quite large slightly tan head. The aroma was sweet with toffee, nuts and malt. The taste was not as good as the aroma, on the weak side with toffee, malt, nuts and some grain. Not bad but not that interesting either. Nice label by the way.
