Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Jul 27, 2003 This is definately a drinkable drunkard beer. Sweet and strong, but not too much of it. larsga (2448), Oslo, Norway Nov 29, 2008 Medium offwhite head. Yellow body. Syrupy corn and fruit aroma with toffee notes. Sweetish fruity toffee taste with syrupy pale malt and strawberry notes. Fullish body. Smooth mouthfeel. Cleanish palate. Dry peppery aftertaste. Vastly better than expected. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.) Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 29, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a thin, white head. Naturally quite full-bodied with a subdued bitterness and some sweetness. Compared to Danish beers in the same style this isn’t really that bad. 160800 gunnfryd (2840), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 7, 2006 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, apple, alcohol, fruit. Flavour is malt, apple, alcohol, hop. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 14, 2006 Bottled. Clear, still, golden beer with a white head. Malt, apple, alcohol and some hops in the nose. The flavor starts fruity, with apple and pear, then malty sweetness and some hops comes through. Medium body. Too much alcohol, as expected with a 7.3% Sweedish lager. At least it tastes better than its weaker brothers. (060824)
