Colorado Native is a hand crafted lager made with all Colorado ingredients that celebrates the joys of life in Colorado.

Hold up a pint of Colorado Native and drink in its amber lager color, brought to life with pale and caramel malts from our famous Moravian 2-row barley. We painstakingly balanced its malt character against select Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops to create a perfectly balanced, full-flavored beer. A lager yeast fermentation gives Colorado Native a slight fruitiness, complementing a citrus aroma note from a late kettle hop addition. Everything then comes together to deliver a clean taste and dry finish that is very drinkable by itself, or paired with your favorite foods.

Golden brown in color, minimal head and lacing. Smells of shortbread and herbal hops. Herbal hoppiness and bread in taste also with a mild bitter aftertaste.

6/26/2015: Golden Block Brewery wasn’t actually brewing their own yet, but I talked to the owner and brewmaster, Floyd, for awhile while my girlfriend and I enjoyed a pint of Colorado Native... Beautiful orange color with an off white head. Flavor is quite nice and extremely balanced with some toasted maltines, light citrusy hops, some fruitiness. The bitterness is fairly moderate Clean, slightly dry, good all around. This beer was enjoyable and is what Coors should be instead of what it currently is! Draught (pint) at Golden Block Brewery in Silverton, CO.

Notes from Denver trip: From Elitch Gardens. dark gold pour, no head. Nose is light pine. Bitter. Middle is slightly caramelized grain. Finish is bittersweet malt with light hops. I enjoyed this.

My brother bought me a sixer of this back from his trip. Pours a deep amber brown with a finger of off white head. Malt and biscuity aromas, slight hop notes. Taste is identical but more hops, malty and sweet biscuit but a nice balance of mild but present hops. It is very drinkable, balanced, and pretty tasty and at 5.5 abv is an easy session beer. Nice brew, thanks bro.

Pours a light amber color with a distinct malt aroma. Taste is surprisingly malty for an amber beer. A light fruity apricot flavor mixed with a mild floral film on the palate. An easy aftertaste, lending to a crisp, clean finish.

Pours let get amber with little head. Aroma is mostly yeasty with only mild hints or caramel and biscuity malt. Taste again is mostly yeast and carbonation with a very light malt body. Nothing great, especially for Colorado. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Coors. Amber color. Aroma of grains and some hop bitterness. By no means a great craft beer but refreshing, with some flavor and drinkable enough. Thin lacing head.
