COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colorado Native is a hand crafted lager made with all Colorado ingredients that celebrates the joys of life in Colorado.

Hold up a pint of Colorado Native and drink in its amber lager color, brought to life with pale and caramel malts from our famous Moravian 2-row barley. We painstakingly balanced its malt character against select Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops to create a perfectly balanced, full-flavored beer. A lager yeast fermentation gives Colorado Native a slight fruitiness, complementing a citrus aroma note from a late kettle hop addition. Everything then comes together to deliver a clean taste and dry finish that is very drinkable by itself, or paired with your favorite foods.

16 oz pour in a mason jar at Beau Jo’s in Idaho Springs. Amber and clear with a small white head. Dull aroma of toasted malts, caramel, toffee and light citrus notes. Similar flavor, mild, malty and smooth with an average body. Crisp finish with light bitterness.

Cool concept but failed execution. Aroma smells inviting - hops and malt. Color is appropriate for the style. Flavor is flat. Mild maltiness is taken over by hop bitterness. No hop flavor detected.

Very tart. Bad smell. Not bad overall, but hard to drink more than one. Would go good with a burger. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. This is a pretty generic lager. Not exactly sure what makes it premium other than the price.

This is a decent lager. Good to see Coors branching out some. I recently wondered if the head brewmasters at Coors and Budweiser honestly say what they make is their favorite beer. They had to of liked good stuff at one point to to get in the industry, right? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice Try Coors! if you can’t get them with taste, get with gimmick! pours clear amber with large bubble thin head. Taste is typical biscuty, malty amber. Highly carbonated. This is only sold in Colorado with all colorado ingredients. So when in Colorado, ignore the gimmick and try an odells levity, or left hand sawtooth instead of this.
