COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our humble interpretation of Lambic. We brew a wort identical to a lambs base beer containing malted barley, raw wheat and 3 year old Slovenian hops. After the 4 hour boil, we knock this out to our "cool ship" and then immediately add the wort to oak barrels with all the yeasts and bugs we could get our clean brewers hands on. 100% of the fermentation occurs in these barrels. This version of Colorambic came from one of our favorite barrels and is keg conditioned with Brettanomyces.

Tap at 4th Annual Boulder SourFest (2013). Slightly hazy golden-yellow pour with a small white head and good lacing. Super funky, urine, lemony, horse blanket, musty, oaky, basementy, citrusy aroma. Taste is funky, musty, citric acid, lemon peel, yeasty, somewhat doughy, biscuity, green apples, and basement with a medium sour finish. Light body with medium carbonation. About as close to Gueuze as you can get and easily my favorite beer at the festival. The team at AC Golden is killing it!

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks guys! Hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of barnyard, funk, slight cheese, nice dusty basement type smell going into a nice lactic lemon, slight bready notes, vanilla, hints of vanilla and honey. Taste is a nice mix of lactic lemon up front with a nice funk cheese, basement, dusty note, going into slight sweet biscuit, vanilla, finishing dry and oaky, tart. This is well done!

Poured a cloudy gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit and barnyard funk. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, grapefruit and barnyard funk with a crisp dry tart lingering funky citrus finish.

Tap at Falling Rock. Slightly hazy light gold in appearance with no lasting head. Tart bactillic aroma with notes of bitter pineapple, and sour apricot. The flavor has a crisp light body but with a full assertive flavor. Nice sour woody tones with a tart bactillic apricot backbone, a touch of red apple, with a bone dry bretty finish. Nice and tart and tasty.
