750 ml bottle - shared by ForgetFu at the DL vertical tasting at the cellar of Chez Moeder Lambic. Thank you Bill!. Pours yellow to orange with a steady small and fine head. Incredibly refined aroma of apricots, peach and some mango. Some yoghurt flavours as well. Fresh body with nice sour & fruity balance. Definite like.

Pale golden orange with a nice haze. Plenty of apricot aroma. Strong lactobacillus notes, some grass, oak, and lemon zest. Maybe a little bit of tea. The flavor has a really strong apricot flavor. Nice tartness of lemon, a touch of yogurt, and some grass. Drying oak, tea, and a touch of funk.

Aroma of tart apricot, slight cellar funk, lemon, and slight acetone. Pours hazy bright yellow orange with no head. Taste is super tart with great acetone and nectarine. Wonderful sour. Very intense and tart and not too funky.

Sampled from 2 differnt bottles. 1 of them was metallic and the other a nicely acidic apricoty brew.

750 mL corked bottle crushed with TheRon. Batch #2, bottle #500. Took about 5 minutes to pry the cork out of this thing. Pours a hazy orange with almost no head that disappears entirely after a few seconds. Aroma of Brett rubbery funkiness, a little acedic, and apricots of course. Flavor is very tart, but not overly sour, with more Brett, light fruits, and a dry finish. Damn fine stuff.

Fizzy hazy yellow pour with little head. nose of apricot, farmy and a has a tiny bit of spring florals in the nose. Taste is crisp and dry with an oak finish. Lemon, apricot, tartness and overall a long finish on the side of the palate. Quality brew

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2013 A fruited sour from Coors? Sounded dreadful, but Iím pleasantly surprised at how good this is. Bright, fresh apricots and soured yeast jump from the glass. Puckering tartness amidst soured fruit shows a shocking level of refinement. I would happily buy this on a regular basis. Why donít they mass produce this?

Share by forgetfu. Thanks Bill! The beer is hazy and appears a golden apricot hue (go figure). The aroma is surprisingly good. I am already shocked that a huge macro brewing corporation is producing lambic, let alone lambic I would buy and drink regularly. The flavor brings prominent apricots. Mild tartness balanced with a delicate sweetness. Light acetic finish with a touch of funk. Good stuff. I would have this again.
