Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a hazy pinkish red with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a lot of funk on it with barnyard and then backing sour cherry notes. Flavor lost some complexity as it was mainly sour cherries, with the funk barely coming out at all.

A pinkish grapefruit juice like kriek with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nice smooth epsom salt with nice cherries, brime, very nice. In mouth, a smooth lightly spiced tart cherry, with light talcum notes, very nice and drinkable. On tap at FoBAB 2011.

Ac golden kriek once again had on tap at FOBAB 2011... Pours a framboise and kriek like in appearance and topped with a thin soapy white head, quickly dissipating... More framboise like than kriek with a peppery seediness. Nice and welcoming... More cherry with a socky funk feel to it. Easy going with a light profile flavor is nicely developed. Lighter bodied but generally quite nice. Like this a touch more than the apricot which, too, was enjoyable. 7/4/8/4/15

Sampled on tap at FoBAB 2011 (Chicago, IL). Pours a vibrant pinkish murky hue, bright and lively with small frothy ring of a whitish head, dies, laces tiny. Aromas are cherries and coriander, touches of flaked wheat, some oranges, more coriander and gentle sourness. Initial is medium bodied, healthy almost acidic sourness up front moves into cherries, coriander, lactic acid, some flaked wheat, fruity citrus, more sourness. Middle shows more sourness lingering, harder into the back. Finish is acidic and sour, some cherries, witbier base. Ok, not quite as good as Aprico but pretty enjoyable, a touch more bretty than the Apricot (which was more lactic).

draft... murky medium pink, color needs to be more assertive... another good Coors lambic, this is a more tart and balanced than the apricot, a fine lambic worth trying
