This is a pretty nice wild sour that leans slightly toward the milder end of the style. It’s got a nice warm red color to it and a foamy, soda-like head. It’s bretty and slightly fruity in the nose. Tartness is strong but not even approaching overbearing. It’s got medium to high carbonation and is light and nicely drinkable. This is a pretty solid beer, though maybe not as complex and interesting as the best of its style.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pink ruby with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, funk, cherry skin. Thin mouth, very sour cherry, oak, funk, slight vinegar, very good.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Pours cloudy and amber with a fuschia tint and no head. The aroma is moderately funky and fruity with only a trace of sulfur. Full-bodied with adequate carbonation. The flavor is heavily sour, lightly fruity, mildly funky and delicious. Crystal clean acidity here. Finishes super tart and slightly dry. As with all the beers in Coors’ AC Golden series, this was a very pleasant surprise. This world-class fruit beer was generously provided by newcigarz!

Had on draft at World of Beer. Cherry skin, tart, lemon, tannic, light butter, grain. A tasty cherry beer, but it is dominated by the acidity and fruit.

Bottle sampled called Hidden Barrel Collection Kriek Head gone in secs, orange-pink beer, lifeless. Sourish red fruit, krieken, but also redcurrant. Very sour, puckingly tart red fruit - unripe raspberries, I’d said given blind. Lemony, citric acid. Acidburn, light body, overattenuated. Too sour, definitely - depthless.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a mostly clear pale red with a very small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, wood, and barnyard. Taste is tart cherries, barnyard, spice, and wood. Pretty good.

Bottle. Cloudy burnt orange pour with a white head. Foot and sour cherry bouquet. Tart cherry with malty undercurrents. Vinegar lowlights. Average body and mouthfeel.

Solid across the board. Red tinged, acidic. Lots of sour. More sour than fruit, but not Ina bad way.

Murky red hues. Sharp vinegar nose. Nice fruity ness with some balsamic but a clean finish. I like this a lot very cherry balanced with nice berliner mouthfeel.

Bottle shared at tasting. Thick yeasty pink body. Nail polish acetone sourness. Unrefined, I’m not impressed at all. Still quite tasty in some respects, the cherries sort of shine in a pink raspberry sort of way. Acid brutality.
