bottle... third time wasn’t the charm for AC... this beer is not very good, terrible balance, all generic brett and oak, what I expected from the kriek and apricot

Small white rim over clear golden beer. Lemon, delicate aroma as from lemonblossom, lemonpeel. Nice lemony flavour, Chardonnay wine, fruity, peach, mineral component. Superbly fine palate, light to medium bodied. Superbly peachy top.

Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a decent amount of funk with backing peaches that are quite tart. Flavor had notes of earthy peaches that were slightly tart with a bit of a musty funk note.

Draft at FoBAB 9. Pours a mostly clear gold with a fluffy white head. The nose is full of barnyard funk, brett, lambicy and a touch of peach. On tasting, nice tartness to this and a bready malt component. Finish shows more of the peach and contributes an impression of sweetness though finish ultimately is bone dry. I actually kinda dug this one. Of course, i think I was the only one that did.

Sampled on tap at FoBAB 2011 (Chicago, IL). Pours a murky golden straw pour, with deep haze, with frothy whitish head that dies to tiny film, small lacing. Aromas are sour peaches, flaked wheat, grainy cereal malts, some sweet fruit, bit of vanilla and oak. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied offering some decent sourness, tart peaches, bread, lactic acid and oak. Gentle flavors with a growing slow sourness from the peach. Finish is very fruity, offering a ton of peach, decent sourness. A bit sweet but quite lively fruit. Finish is touches of sourness and peaches. Nice, not bad. Some flashes of good mix with some flashes of sweetness that I don’t love. Ok.
