Tap at Star Bar during Denver off the Wagonís first anniversary party. Softly hazy dark rusty copper with a thin and lasting spotty head. Aroma is funky lactobacillus yeast, which came off as stomach bile with a malty background. Not sure if I should enjoy this smell. Taste is much better with some bile in the far background, but I know thatís just the intentional bacteria. But itís got this sour earthy light malt tone, like oaked tangerine with a grape like funky bitterness. Dry. Not quite "fruity", but has a crisp and biting dry fruit tone, like grape skin. Neat sour ale.
